Otoplasty

The Otoplasty is a surgicasl procedure performed to correct prominent ears. The response is both to adults and children over five years.

Through incisions that are placedat the back of the ears,the ear cartilage is reduced or manipulated to correct the prominent ear. Post-operative the patient wears a protective bandage which is removed after one week. The stitches are removed in 1 week, unless they are absorbed.

The results of the surgery are immediately apparent, although the final result is visible after a few weeks after the loss of swelling and echymoses..
